For 35 years now, Dr. Bernardo D. Tadeo has successfully provided transaction advisory services from project origination, development to financial closure, and implementation of over 200 MW of renewable energy (RE) projects (solar, biomass, hydro) and pipeline of more than 500 MW in the Philippines; and other related development projects in agriculture and environment. He is experienced in research, development and commercial aspects of sustainable energy and environment, including biosystems engineering. He is a certified energy manager and has served as energy/environmental management representative/auditor, pollution control officer, techno financial consultant, chief science research specialist, project manager, and developer of projects from origination to implementation in the field of energy, environment and agro-industries.  Successful transaction advisory services are particularly focused on business activities in RE and Energy Efficiency (EE), rural electrification, decentralized energy system, biochar/biogas production, municipal solid waste, biofuels, solar energy, climate change, and clean development mechanism. He has led several companies achieved integrated management system certification on quality (ISO 9001, environmental (ISO 14001), safety and health (45001), and energy management (ISO5001). Dr. Tadeo has served as Project Development Manager or Team Lead for various private and multilateral agencies such as USAID B-LEADERS and CEnergy Projects,  WB-IFC Sustainable Energy Finance Program, EC-ASEAN Energy Facility Program, ILO-ADB Green Jobs; NEDO Biomass Gasification Project; identified viable projects and construction of energy facilities, conduct of feasibility studies carbon credits and other innovative financing schemes; calculations of GHG emission reductions; preparation of investment documents, and deal financing. He has also spearheaded RE/EE roadshows with potential RE clients, financing institutions, multilateral and funding agencies, and visits to successfully operating energy and environment projects locally and abroad.
